Overview
Ag-Quest, the premiere provider of Western Canadian contract research services for the agricultural industry since 1983, is looking for a full-time, permanent Field Researcher to conduct product efficacy field trials on our research farm near Elm Creek, Manitoba.
Location: Elm Creek, Manitoba
Salary: Dependent on relevant experience and education. Benefit package is available.
Start date: February 1, 2022.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Agriculture with research experience.
- Must have a valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license or higher class.
- Must have Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
- Experience with field research trials, trial design, crop production practices, and operation of field research equipment
(tractors, seeders, sprayers, combines, etc.)
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail when interpreting and following protocols, and procedures
- Problem solving and critical thinking in all situations
- Good written and verbal communication with project coordinators, clients, co-workers and support staff
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Familiarity with field trial design and layout of trials in the field
- Ability to set up, calibrate and operate field research equipment
