Based in Brandon and reporting to the Manager, Network Services the Team Lead, Network Services is responsible for leading a team of Network Analysts with expertise in Voice, Video and Data service delivery to our customers. The successful candidate will provide leadership to the Network Services (NS) team to complete assigned projects and operational tasks/duties timely by efficient task delegation, prioritization of project workload and effective third party (consultants and vendors) coordination.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the team:
• Minimum 1-3 years of leadership experience within an ISP/MSO or Telecom environment with a good understanding of DWDM, Core and Access (FTTH and DOCSIS) Network technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, information systems or a closely related field.
• Minimum of one of the following professional certifications: Cisco CCNA/Juniper JNCIA-Junos, A+/Network + certificate, SCTE DOCSIS Engineering Professional, or any FTTH certification/training.
• Basic understanding of voice network infrastructure (soft switches, SIP trunks, etc.) and video network infrastructure (legacy cable video and IPTV streaming products).
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of data networks; cable plant, network, and headend topologies; routing and switching; and designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting network systems and services.
• Must be available for on-call, time-averaging, and emergency services as required.
