Custody Corrections is hiring Kitchen Trades Instructors for Milner Ridge Correctional Center, Brandon Correctional Center, Winnipeg Remand Center, The Pas Correctional Center, Headingly Correctional Center. Please indicate location preference on your application form.
Qualifications
Essentials: •Completion of a recognized food services diploma or certificate and related experience in commercial cooking or equivalent combination of education and training
•Experience in food preparation
•Experience in storage, sanitation and safety
•Experience in portion control, menu planning and analysis
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Experience training or instructing others
•Strong written communication skills
•Strong verbal communication skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Experience working in a team environment
Desired: •Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions and spirituality
