Vegetation Management Technician

ACE Vegetation is a locally owned and operated company with over 40 years experience in this diverse industry. We provide environmental vegetation management and reclamation services including invasive species control, mowing/mulching services, problem vegetation control, and revegetation solutions. Our services extend to multiple industries such as oil and gas, industrial/commercial, environmental and reclamation, forestry, and right-of-way services to name a few. Position Details:
- Full Time, Seasonal 4-month contract: May-August (possible extension)
- Hands on training program at start of season (1 week) with paid accommodations, and daily wages/course expenses covered for all training not considered prerequisites to this position

Responsibilities:
- Provide vegetation management services to clients through herbicide application or mechanical removal
- Operate trucks, UTV’s, mowers, weed whips, and various spray equipment
- Complete and submit data collection, client records, and paperwork on time
- Vegetation identification, specifically for invasive species
- Proper housekeeping and maintenance of all work equipment, including PPE
- Participate in daily hazard inspections, crew safety meetings, and follow all ACE safety protocols
- Provide clients with excellent work while displaying a professional and positive attitude
- Understand and follow legislative guidelines regarding herbicide application
