Youth Care Worker - Nights

We are hiring!
Overnight Weekend (.4 EFT, Term)
Group Care Treatment Program, (GCTP)
Knowles Centre is an accredited treatment facility serving children, adolescents, and families from Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Duties:
• Supervise high needs/at-risk youth
• Provide feedback to treatment teams
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Deescalate clients as needed
• Documentation of clients progresses
• Must remain awake throughout the shift

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Minimum Gr.12, RRC or University education (preferred)
• Education and experience with level four children an asset
• Strong interest in working with high needs, at-risk youth
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Successful applicant will be subject to Child Abuse Registry, Prior Contact and Criminal Reference checks
• Experience working with Level 4 clients with behavioral and emotional difficulties
• Experience working in an alternative setting (camp)
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR/NVCI

Salary: Range from $33, 028.90 - $40,751.41
Work hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 am – 8:00 am
