Overview

Who we are looking for:
Victoria Inn Brandon is searching for an Accounting Clerk. This position will require a highly
motivated individual with accounting and cash handling experience. Candidates with speed,
accuracy and efficiency should apply. Preference will be given to those with hospitality
experience or those who have completed an accounting or finance related diploma. Successful
candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

What you will learn:
You will learn a full working knowledge of the hotel software. Successful applicants will
complete reconciliation of Point of Sales system, Banquet sales, Beer Inventory
Reconciliation, VLT daily and weekly sales, weekly sales reconciliation, coupon tracking,
credit card reconciliation, float verification, daily deposit reconciliation and over/short tracking.
The Accounting Clerk will also answer customer’s account and credit card inquires.

Position Summary:
Though the guidance of Controller, you will verify transactions, and archive documents.
Ensure all cash policies and procedures are being enforced in all departments. Reconcile
sales for restaurant, banquets, and front desk. Verify credit card payments. Completing
weekly coin/atm order processing and receiving. Assisting with float counts and VLT
reconciliation.

Qualifications

Individuals with Business Administration and a specialization in accounting are preferred.
