Overview
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our construction office in Brandon, Manitoba in a contract opportunity with permanent potential.
Job Duties:
Provide exceptional customer service at reception i.e. greet customers in person, answer a switch-board style phone, transfer calls, take messages when needed.
Work in collaboration with the operations team and perform diversified administrative duties as assigned - managing files, data entry, copying, scanning, mailing and other duties as assigned.
Record and manage invoices and other payables within Sage 300.
Prepare and issue customer invoices with a high level of accuracy, ensuring billing details match information provided and client requirements.
Monitor outstanding customer balances, apply incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to support timely collections.
Qualifications
Experience & Education:
Professional personality with a good work ethic
Excellent communication skills with internal teams and clients
Minimum 1-year education in college accounting, office administration; preferred
Experience with AR/AP; preferred
Class 5 Drivers Licence; required
Previous experience in a similar role; asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
