The Research Technician term position will allow individuals to explore a career path in agricultural research. Work as part of a team and independently while assisting Research Associates and the Research Team establish and maintain small plot research trials. During this term individuals will have the opportunity to organize and pack trial seed, pre-seed preparations, operate plot equipment (small tractors, implements, sprayers, etc.), work in the field to collect data on the field trials and participate in harvesting field trials at maturity.
Join the Ag-Quest team at Minto (40 mins south of Brandon) and gain valuable equipment expertise as well as training and experience in scientific principles and sampling techniques. This position is a 6 month term. Summer positions, of 4 month terms are also available.
Ag-Quest has five locations across Western Canada including Elm Creek, Manitoba, Ridgedale, Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Taber, Alberta all of which are actively hiring staff for the 2024 field season.
