Homestead Co-op is hiring a Full Time Seasonal Driver/Maintenance Personnel at our Austin Agro Site location.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager your duties will include but are not limited to: Responsible for deliveries and receiving of the commodities sold at the site. These can include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and equipment. Safe and efficient handling of all deliveries, returns, and receiving of product while providing exceptional customer service. Also responsible for ensuring maintenance and cleaning of the delivery unit, completing daily and monthly safety checks. Also responsible for the maintenance and organization of all facilities, including the yard, to ensure a professional image is maintained at all times.

You are looking for a career in Retail and:
Experience delivering Ag products and knowledge of the trading area is preferred.
You are able to work both independently and as a member of a highly motivated team.
You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
You are highly motivated.
You possess strong interpersonal skills.
Must hold a valid Class 3 Driver’s License.
Forklift, WHMIS, TDG training is required and will be provided.
Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the demands of the season.
You are honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.
