Overview
The Application Analyst’s role is to liaise with Fusion’s end users to identify and execute on opportunities to fulfill business objectives and tasks efficiently and effectively. This includes troubleshooting systems and processes, executing updates to software, applying configuration changes, testing, and internal communications.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have two years of post-secondary education plus three years of job-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in computer science or computer engineering is considered an asset. The individual must possess:
o Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
o Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements.
o Working knowledge of agile and waterfall project management.
o Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
o Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST is considered an asset.
