Overview
Rock Lake United Church Camp Inc. is a summer camp affiliated with the United Church of Canada providing camping experiences for children aged 4-15 years old. The camp is located on the north shore of Rock Lake, approximately 150 km. southwest of Winnipeg. Our goal is to provide youth with a fun-filled camping experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. Some of the camp activities include kayaking, archery, canoeing, hiking, nature science, dramas and skits, dances and campfires.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* must be a minimum of 16 years of age
* must have Bronze Cross, First Aid and CPR training
* must have canoeing experience
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* include safety and maintenance of beach area and aquatic equipment, lifeguarding
* planning and directing of waterfront activities
* when time permits, helping in other camping areas as assigned by the Camp Coordinator
