YOUR DAY TO DAY
As our Autobody Technician / Refinisher, you will be a hands on contributor to the daily operations that keep the shop running efficiently while delivering high quality repairs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prime, prep, and mask vehicles for paint and refinishing.
Mix paint and complete final refinishing to a high standard of quality.
Complete all repairs in accordance with insurance guidelines and manufacturer repair procedures.
Follow all company standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and quality outcomes.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Disassemble vehicles and identify required repairs.
Repair and prepare damaged body panels made of various materials, following proper repair procedures.
Complete repairs start to finish when required, including preparation, refinishing, reassembly, and final inspections.
Reassemble vehicles and complete final quality checks prior to delivery.
Communicate clearly with team members regarding repair requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Participate in ongoing training and skill development to continuously improve technical knowledge and performance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Steady, fulltime hours in a professional shop environment.
Fast paced work setting with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Physical work including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
Indoor shop environment with exposure to typical autobody shop conditions.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
Journeyperson Certificate in Autobody Repair.
Primary experience as a painter/refinisher with the ability to complete quality repairs independently.
Ability to complete repairs with integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and a detail oriented approach.
Ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.
Easygoing, respectful, and able to work effectively with others at varying skill levels.
Ability to recognize and work with the strengths and development areas of others.
ICAR Platinum Certification is considered a strong asset.
