Cafe Cook Lead
Overview
Do you have the passion and knowledge to run the kitchen of a cafe? The International Peace Garden is looking for a Cafe Cook Lead to oversee the kitchen of the Peace Garden Cafe. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests have great menu options and great food! You will assist in the planning of the Cafe menu, hiring and supervising kitchen staff, ordering and tracking supplies and creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere in the kitchen!
There is limited housing available to successful applicants onsite.
Qualifications
1. Chef/Cooking Diploma or better, and/or suitable combination of education and experience.
2. Experience supervising a commercial kitchen team preferred.
3. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as experience as a team leader.
4. Have strong interpersonal communication skills
5. Ability to work effectively under high pressure and high expectations.
