Organize and prepare meals for all recreational camps utilizing Ukrainian Park (up to 150 people per week) including breakfast, lunch, supper, and snack.
Manage a team of 5 -7 kitchen volunteers.
Collaborate with the directors to establish menu and procedures.
Coordinate purchase of food and operation of kitchen facilities.
Ensure high standards of safety and cleanliness in the commercial kitchen.
Operate within budget.
Qualifications
Must be 21 or older
Food Handler Certificate
Criminal Record Check
Interview with recruitment team
Complete kitchen facilities orientation
English and Ukrainian language skills an asset
Ability to supervise and assign duties to assistants.
Ability to cook, plan work and co-ordinate activities to meet requirements for meals.
Knowledge of methods for preparation of large scale meals.
Knowledge of proper storage and handling of food.
Knowledge of accommodating food allergies and restrictions.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Compatible with camp life and culture.
