Camp Counsellors - Rock Lake United Church Camp
Overview
Rock Lake United Church Camp Inc. is a summer camp affiliated with the United Church of Canada providing camping experiences for children aged 4-15 years old. The camp is located on the north shore of Rock Lake, approximately 150 km. southwest of Winnipeg. Our goal is to provide youth with a fun-filled camping experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. Some of the camp activities include kayaking, archery, canoeing, hiking, nature science, dramas and skits, dances and campfires.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* must be 14 - 18 years of age
* attend the Leadership Development week
* experience working with children
* have a desire and ability to work with children in a camp setting
* enthusiastic, sense of humour, patience and self-control
* willing to assist in all camp activities
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* act as a role model for children
* are a crucial part of our camping program.
