Caretaker - Rock Lake United Church Camp
Overview
Rock Lake United Church Camp Inc. is a summer camp affiliated with the United Church of Canada providing camping experiences for children aged 4-15 years old. The camp is located on the north shore of Rock Lake, approximately 150 km. southwest of Winnipeg. Our goal is to provide youth with a fun-filled camping experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. Some of the camp activities include kayaking, archery, canoeing, hiking, nature science, dramas and skits, dances and campfires.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* must be a minimum of 16 years of age
* ability to work with minimal supervision
* able to take initiative to perform maintenance duties
* operate yard equipment including lawn mower, trimmer, chain saw, etc.
* have a WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Material Information) certificate before the start of camp duties
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* grounds maintenance
* general repair and cleaning of washrooms and Lodge
