Cash Vault Supervisor

he Cashroom Cashier is a highly trusted position which exists in Sodexo Live! businesses where a significant volume of cash transactions are processed within a compressed period of time, such as a sporting or events arena. The Cashroom Cashier will make cash floats, pick up, sort, and count all cash floats.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper security of cash assets at all times; Understands and follows cash handling policies and procedures.

• Order, maintain and distribute change according to unit needs.

• Use manual or mechanical means to count and verify cashier drops.

• Verify authenticity of bills, particularly those in large denominations.

• Make cash deliveries and pickups during events throughout the venue; Upon returning to cash room, balance pickups and record amounts belonging to the proper stands.

• Prepare bank deposits in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Verify, record and witness cash amounts turned in by associates who have responsibility for cash handling.

• Operate machines such as a coin sorter, currency counter, and other equipment.

• Complete applicable documentation accurately and according to Centerplate’s policies and procedures.

• Follow all Centerplate uniform and grooming standards.

• Assist fellow employees in other departments, as needed.

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

• Confer with Office Manager regarding problem areas; Make recommendations for increasing efficiency.

• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
