Your days will include:
Lead the planning, preparation, and delivery of culinary events — from exclusive dinners to large-scale company celebrations.
Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to create impactful food experiences that engage clients and strengthen HyLife’s brand presence.
Representing HyLife as a brand ambassador at trade shows, corporate events, and community partnerships.
Developing menus that highlight the flavor and quality of HyLife’s premium pork products.
Supervising and mentoring the Sous Chef and Sous Chef Assistant to ensure flawless execution and consistency in service.
Managing budgets, food costing, and event logistics, ensuring efficiency and excellence in every detail.
Overseeing food safety and sanitation standards across all culinary operations.
Supporting co-marketing and promotional initiatives that elevate HyLife’s reputation locally and globally.

Qualifications

Red Seal in Culinary Arts is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a chef leadership role.
Proven ability to lead culinary teams and deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Strong creativity in menu design and event presentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to travel between Neepawa, Steinbach, and event locations, including some evenings and weekends.
Valid driver’s license
