Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, or Education, is an asset
▪ Knowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction and assessment
▪Knowledge of Indigenous Perspectives
▪Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, leadership, mentorship, and continuous learning to support student success
▪Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
▪Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents and outside agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills
▪Ability to maintain confidentiality
▪Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and work with Kitchen Production staff
▪Experience with the latest Culinary Arts equipment will be considered an asset
▪Experience teaching students, particularly in diverse and multicultural settings will be considered an asset
