Day Camp Counsellor

Summer (July 6 -Sept 4, 2026)

Term Position, Monday-Friday-up to 40 hours/week

Various Locations:

Elmwood-Kildonan Community Hub, 454 Kimberly Ave.

South Community Hub, 5 Fermor Ave.

West Portage Community Hub, 3550 Portage Ave.

Downtown Community Hub, 301 Vaughan St.

As a day camp counsellor, you will be a strong role model providing leadership while emphasizing fun, fitness, skill development and health and well-being in a wide variety of activities.

Are you the right fit?

Enjoy working with children/youth ages 4-16
Assist in development/delivery and supervision of children’s programs and activities
Ability to lead, encourage and engage camper participation in daily activities
Able to build positive relationships and provide ongoing communication/leadership with campers, families, staff and volunteers
