THE OPPORTUNITY:
Tundra has an opportunity for a Drafting & Design Student for the summer of 2026 (May-August) based out of the Virden, Manitoba office.
REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Assisting in maintaining underground Facilities maps (updating against known QA/QC data, Licenses, external data, locates received from the field, etc.)
• Drafting and designing of P&ID’s, PFD, ISO’s and plot plans for construction projects
• Drafting and designing of pipelines for Tundra’s flow line projects
• Drafting and designing small construction projects – Header upgrades, flow line tie in, Satellite, etc.
• Providing technical support for construction projects (assembly of construction binders, bill of materials, clearances & crossing agreements, etc.)
• Redlining of drawings pre- and post-construction
• Other related duties as required
OTHER DETAILS:
• This position is office-based (Monday to Friday)
• Working independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED:
• In progress of obtaining a post-secondary education in an Engineering Technology field
• Understanding of and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – PFD, P&ID’s, Isometrics, plot plans, surveys
• AutoCAD experience
