Event Coordinator
Overview
Are you interested in what it takes to put on events of varying sizes? Over the summer season, we will host events that are workshops, to 3 day events, dinners, brunches, weddings and a Gala! The Event Coordinator will finalize the details and execution of multiple events and weddings over the season.
There is limited accommodation available onsite for success applicants.
Qualifications
1. Event Coordination certificate or higher, and/or suitable combination of education and experience with event coordination.
2. Customer service experience.
3. Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers
4. Experience using Microsoft Office, Canva and other computer programs.
5. Experience collecting payments by cash, cheque and debit/credit machines.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Ability to work as part of a team.
8. Have strong interpersonal communication skills
9. Ability to work effectively under high pressure and high expectations and remain calm.
