Excavation Civil Foreman
Overview
About the Job:
-Operating and overseeing jobsites, this would include drivers and other operators, labours and crew safety.
-Responsible for equipment maintenance and crew performance
-Responsible for helping and holding tool box talks and filling out proper safety and equipment sheets daily.
-Reporting any problems or situations in a timely manner to the excavation manager.
-Making sure all proper equipment and tools are ready for the crew each day.
-Work as a team and as a leader within the organization.
-Responsible to hold the highest standard in work performance and finished product of every task.
-Make sure all company policies and procedures are followed on your worksite to ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.
-Daily reporting to Excavation Manager when any work or personal related problems arise within the organization.
Qualifications
Requirements:
-Valid Drivers License. Class 1 or 3 would be an asset.
-Ability to follow instructions and timelines of each project and crew.
-3-5 Years Experience in civil work.
-Able to run multi pieces of equipment.
-Ability to work as part of a team and independent.
-Ability to read blue prints.
-Strong communication skills.
-Mechanical skills to correctly identify equipment issues.
