Facility Operator & Ice Technician
Overview
Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer and the Manager of Parks & Recreation, the Facility Operator & Ice Technician provides physical support and assistance in the day to day delivery of services to the patrons of the Minnedosa Regional Events Centre and the Parks & Recreation Department. They will operate a variety of equipment in the care and maintenance of the facility’s infrastructure and provide the patrons with a consistent, premium experience.
Qualifications
Level 5 Power Engineer
Refrigeration 1 Certificate
Minimum two (2) years experience in ice maintenance including resurfacing, installations and removal
Manitoba driver’s license, minimum Class 5
Possess the ability to deal effectively with the public over the telephone and/or in person;
Possess excellent organizational skills demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy and being able to meet deadlines;
Be highly motivated with the ability to set your own work priorities while working in a team environment;
Possess the ability to handle sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner;
