Farm Labour - Seasonal
Overview
Rourke Farms is currently looking for a seasonal farm labourer to help on our grain operation at Minto, Manitoba. Students are encouraged to apply.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: operation of trucks and farm machinery, light maintenance and repair of equipment, mowing grass, hauling grain, picking stones, maintenance and repair of farm buildings and yard.
Qualifications
An ideal candidate would have farm or equipment operation experience, a valid class 5 drivers license (class 1 would be an asset), some mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, problem solving skills, a good work ethic, positive attitude, and the physical and mental ability to keep up to a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work long hours and consecutive days during busy seasons (seeding, harvest) is crucial.
