Farm worker
Overview
Tamarack Farms grows perennial native grasses and flowers for seed and annual grains.
-30 hrs/week from mid-May to September.
-Individual aged 15 to 30
-Work could include backpack spraying, seed cleaning, weeding, rock picking, basic carpentry, tractor operation, and general farm work.
-We are looking for applications from all qualified candidates, including Indigenous individuals, recent newcomers to Canada, or youth who are early leavers of high school.
Qualifications
Interest in working outdoors
Plant identification experience an asset
Equipment operation experience an asset
