Join the team at New Era Ag Research for an exciting opportunity to grow your career in agricultural research. As a Research Technician, you’ll take ownership of your own set of research protocols and contribute to high-quality data that supports innovation in the Ag Industry.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up, execute, collect data, and report on assigned field research protocols under the direction of the Research Manager.
• Work collaboratively with the research team to manage timelines and ensure all trials are completed accurately and efficiently in the field and indoor grow room.
• Operate or assist in operating farm and research equipment.
• Perform physical fieldwork in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain organized digital files and accurate records throughout the research season.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary diploma or degree (agriculture or related field preferred).
• Experience in the ag industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ARM, and digital file management.
• Ability to learn and use new computer software.
• Comfortable operating or learning to operate farm equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including during peak season and occasionally on short notice.
