Full-time, Seasonal, Golf Clubhouse positions (various)

Southport is a not-for-profit property management and development company, located 3 km south of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. Southport is looking for applicants to fill positions at our Southport Golf Club for the 2023 golf season. Positions include:

• Full-time, Seasonal – Assistant Manager (March 30, 2023 to October 15, 2023) – Support the day-to-day operation of the Southport Golf Clubhouse; key responsibilities include:
o Coordinating and managing the daily operation of the Clubhouse
o Assisting the Manager, Recreational Facilities with the creation and achievement of all performance targets for the Clubhouse
o Managing the day-to-day tasks of the Clubhouse including scheduling, invoicing, and daily reconciliation of financials and deposits
o Process and track all Southport Golf Club Memberships and golf cart storage
o Acquire and maintain a weekly inventory and record of supplies and equipment necessary to support the operation of the Clubhouse
o Supervise, evaluate, and oversee the training and orientation of all Clubhouse staff

• Full-time, Seasonal – Clubhouse Cooks (April 10, 2023 to October 15, 2023) – Support the day-to-day operations of the Southport Golf Clubhouse kitchen; key responsibilities include:
o Plan, manage, prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with recipe specifications and customer orders
o Portion and assemble food for table/takeout service following proper safe food handling procedures
o Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment necessary to support the operation of the Clubhouse kitchen

• Full-time, Seasonal – Site Coordinator (April 10, 2023 to October 15, 2023) - Support the day-to-day operation of the Southport Golf Clubhouse; key responsibilities include:
o Supervision of Clubhouse Attendants and assist Assistant Manager with organized events
o Busing and expediting kitchen orders for table/take-out service
o Service of alcoholic beverages
o Cleaning and maintaining the Clubhouse, patio, and Clubhouse exterior areas
o Managing golf tee-times, membership sales, green fees, club/cart rentals and kiosk/kitchen sales

• Full-time and Part-time, Seasonal – Clubhouse Attendants (April 12, 2023 to October 15, 2023) – Support the day-to-day operation of the Southport Golf Clubhouse; key responsibilities include:
o Busing and expediting kitchen orders for table/take-out service
o Service of alcoholic beverages
o Cleaning and maintaining the Clubhouse, patio, and Clubhouse exterior areas
o Managing golf tee-times, membership sales, green fees, club/cart rentals and kiosk/kitchen sales

• Full-time and Part-Time, Seasonal – Golf Course Maintenance Staff (April 24, 2023 to October 15, 2023) – Support the day-to-day operations of the Southport Golf Club grounds; key responsibilities include:
o Greens, tees, fairways, and rough mowing
o Bunker maintenance
o Push mowing
o Trimming/weeding
o Sodding
