Overview
What to be excited for in this role:
Oversee the consistency of various preparations within the kitchen to ensure quality products and adherence to standard recipes.
Assisting in cold food preparations such as salads, cold cuts, salad dressings, etc.
Ensure that assigned work area has the proper level of stocks and supplies.
Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored.
Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.
Responsible for assisting Chef in maintaining the overall cleanliness and equipment maintenance of their areas.
Supporting kitchen staff including performing prep work, cleaning and dish washing.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we need from you:
Available during daytime hours.
1-2 years of cold kitchen experience.
Possess Food Handler Certification.
Possess valid Health and Safety certification.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be personable, maintain a professional disposition and dress hygienically in accordance with policy.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Adhere to all policies outlined by True North Sports + Entertainment.
