THE OPPORTUNITY:

Tundra has an opportunity for a Geoscience Student for the summer of 2026 (May-August) based out of the Calgary, Alberta office.

REPORTS TO: Geoscience Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Compiling and interpreting various geological data to identify opportunities for further development
Working with asset Geoscientists and Engineers to acquire, assess, and filter data for improved analysis and interpretation
Creating and interpreting geologic maps and cross sections to provide a comprehensive understanding of the pool/field
Investigating relationship between geologic, drilling, completions, and production data for final reservoir characterization presentation
Final project will involve analyzing complied geologic datasets for reservoir characterization
Additional duties as required
WHAT YOU NEED:

In progress of obtaining a post-secondary degree in Geosciences

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in, or ability to learn:
Geophysical well logs and related data
Interpretation of wellsite geologic reports/strip logs
Mapping skills
Computer programs: Excel, Accumap, Microsoft Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills with the ability to understand the highest priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Self-starter with initiative and ability to seek information independently
Ability to build strong relationships both internally & externally
OTHER DETAILS:

This position is office-based (Monday to Friday)
