Gift Shop Attendants
Overview
The Peace Garden Gift Shop is located in the Conservatory and is open 7 days a week for the Summer season. As a small Gift Shop, staff have the opportunity to learn the various aspects of running Gift Shop from great customer service, POS systems, merchandise ordering and stock and more.
You will ensure the guests and customers of the Peace Garden Gift Shop experience great customer service. You will operate our POS system, work in dual currencies, balance cash and credit/debit receipts and more.
The International Peace Garden is located just south of Boissevain (approximately 20 minutes) on the Canada/US border. There is on-site housing available for eligible employees.
Qualifications
1) Previous experience in a retail setting
2) Ability to use a POS system and debit/credit machines
3) Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
