Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide front-line support to a client group of 2000 hourly and 150 salaried employees in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The incumbent is responsible for establishing credibility with employees by efficiently addressing and responding to inquiries in a unionized environment. With the opportunity of exposure to a variety of HR functions, this position provides the potential to cross-train and further develop a diverse HR skillset.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary certificate/diploma or currently working towards in Office or Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources is considered an asset
- 1 year of HR-related experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment; good knowledge of Manitoba employment legislation and labour relations practices; and working knowledge of HR trends and practices
- A combination of experience and education will be considered
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word , Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
