Summary
We are seeking a multitalented Industrial Mechanic to join the maintenance team at our pre-cast concrete manufacturing plant in Haywood, MB. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and repairing building systems and industrial equipment, we want to hear from you! This full-time position typically operates Monday to Friday, all year round (not seasonal)

Duties & Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. This may involve after hours / weekend call outs.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to work each day
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal certification preferred but will consider underfill depending on experience and skills
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.
• Proficiency in welding, machining, and fabrication is an asset.
• Experience with concrete plant equipment (conveyors, overhead cranes, extruders, etc.) is an asset.
