Landscape Foreman
Overview
Our Landscape Installation Team specializes in the installation and construction of:
-Total landscapes for residential or commercial projects.
-Hardscaping – retaining walls, driveways, patios and walkways, decks, fencing, and custom outdoor kitchens.
-Custom planting, water features, complete softscaping, and outdoor living spaces that enhance surroundings.
We’re looking for a Foreman, experienced in landscaping who excels at managing streamlined process to produce superior results.
The Landscape Foreman works with the Manager and Leadhand planning labor and equipment requirements, material deliveries, and timing to ensure project timelines are met and a high standard of quality is delivered.
About the Job:
-Communicate project status with Manager, Crew, and Customer
-Ensure the quality and integrity of each project, on schedule.
-Ensure the Crew understands the expectations of quality, integrity, and efficiency, has the resources (i.e., training, tools, equipment, materials, time, support) to achieve same, and is motivated to do so.
-Operate the Crew truck, landscaping equipment and tools, and ensure all are in good working order.
-Ensure the project requirements (i.e., permits, clearances, and materials) are all available.
Qualifications
Requirements:
-Ability to consistently meet production expectations with strong organizational, problem solving, and team building skills.
-Ability to adapt to unexpected challenges and resolve issues.
-Ability to communicate positively and effectively with customers, vendors, and team.
-Demonstrated working knowledge of installation, safety best practices, and policies and procedures.
-Ability to use hand and power tools.
-Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
-Skid steer and small equipment experience/certificate is an asset.
-Driver's license is required.
-Landscaping experience is required.
