Legacy Systems Lead

Position: 18-Month Term
Location: Any MASC Service Centre

Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, the Legacy Systems Lead is responsible for maintenance and support of all information technology applications for Insurance Legacy systems.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Computer Science and experience in Application Development or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, may be considered.
• Experience working on an AS400 including OS400 operating commands.
• Experience developing and maintaining COBOL code.
• Experience working with SQL, ideally within DB2 for iSeries.
• Ability to supervise staff.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with X-Analysis, is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices, is considered an asset.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
