Overview

True North Sports + Entertainment is seeking a strategic and motivated individual with strong marketing expertise to help drive key marketing and sales initiatives.

As the Manager, Ticket Marketing, you will assist in the development and execution of campaign strategies to support all Winnipeg Jets ticket marketing initiatives and sales efforts, including Individual and Group Sales, while also focusing on the growth and retention of Season Ticket Memberships.

What to be excited for in this role:

Partner with Ticket/Premium Sales, Marketing and other internal stakeholders on all ticket-related efforts—retention, acquisition, and the creation of new ticket products and offers.
Coordinate the development of marketing assets (videos, motion and static graphics, written content and sales materials) tailored to campaign objectives.
Lead the In-Season Individual Tickets Sales campaign across digital and traditional media—social, broadcast, radio, print and email—ensuring copy and creative align with the season’s creative direction.
Oversee the upkeep and promotion of ticket-focused content on all channels, including but not limited to websites, in-game signage, social media and mobile apps.
Collaborate with digital advertising agencies to plan, launch and analyze paid ticketing campaigns throughout the year.
Work alongside the Marketing Automation team to design, execute and measure segmentation-driven, automated and email marketing campaigns.
Play a key role in shaping offers that attract new group and corporate business, while reinforcing Season Ticket Member loyalty.
Take on additional projects and special initiatives as they arise.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

Bachelor’s degree (or diploma/equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, Communications or a related field.
Three to five years of experience in marketing, ticket sales or a closely related function.
Comfort with Asana or similar project-management platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and modern ticketing platforms is an asset.
Working knowledge of paid social advertising, Google Ads and traditional media buying.
Exceptional copywriting skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills, creativity and the capacity to handle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset and proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
Experience in team-sports marketing and familiarity with the hockey industry are an asset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
