Overview
The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This position involves managing front desk activities, supporting administrative functions, and overseeing various office tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be adept at multitasking while providing excellent support to both staff and clients.
Responsibilities Required But Not Limited To:
Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting as needed.
Book travel arrangements for technicians.
Expected hours: 40 per week

Qualifications
Proficiency in administrative tasks with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in front desk operations or as a clerk is preferred.
Knowledge of payroll systems and human resources processes is a plus.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

We are the factory representatives for SMARDT Chillers and Distech Controls but have the capabilities to work on any mechanical system or automation in the industry. Prairie HVAC/R has extensive experience working with Ammonia and specializes in Freon & CO2 systems as well. In-house Controls and Electrical Divisions coupled with in-house Engineering and Project Management, create a one stop shop feel for our customers.
Whether design/build/install or maintenance, Prairie HVAC/R has the capabilities to take a project from conception to completion. Having successfully executed projects valued over $2MM, we have built a brand our customers trust and rely on.
