Paid Ecological Farm Apprenticeship

Overview

*Work and potentially live on a ecological based farm.
*Farms vary from vegetable market gardens, flower farms, apiaries, small mixed livestock operations, large cattle ranches, and grain farms.
*Wage depends on the farm.
*You will also have the opportunity to tour all the farms in the provincial program and meet the other apprentices.
*Have extra learning events and be connected with a resource base for new farmers.
*Work and learn with great people, be outside, get paid, and have a lot of fun!

Qualifications

Open to any one over 18 even if you have not previous farming experience.
*driven, motivated, and exciting to learn about farming.
*be willing to work outside in all conditions.
*be able to lift 50lbs
*drivers license is an asset.
*has all weather work clothing, boots, and gloves.
