The Young Agrarians Apprenticeship Program offers a paid, season long immersive farm experience where you’ll receive support from host farm mentors, peer networking opportunities and gain new skills in ecological farm operations.
If you’re interested in a future in farming, an opportunity like this is the perfect starting place. You can apply to apprentice on a diverse range of ecological, organic and regenerative host farms across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Choose from a variety of farm production types: livestock, fruit, vegetables, flowers, bee keeping. Learn from a pro!
Applications open now and close February 16, 2025. Apprentices will be on farm from spring to fall, approx. April to October, but exact dates vary farm to farm.

Qualifications
*No experience required
*Keen interest to learn about farming
*Able and willing to do physical work outdoors in all weather
*Drivers license and a car is an asset (not required, unless farm asks for it)
