Reesor’s Jewellery is a locally owned and operated, independent jewellery store in Brandon, MB in operation since 1882. We provide quality service and products to our customers and believe education is vital. At Reesor’s, we are a team and team members are encouraged to achieve both store and individual goals. We offer a supportive, educational, fun work environment, while doing our best exceed customer’s expectations.
Training is provided and is on-going, as the jewellery industry is continually evolving. You’ll also learn how to take in repairs, change watch batteries, and change a clasp on a chain, among other duties.
This position is part-time 12-20 hours per week, depending on the time of year. A variety of evening (during the week) and weekend day shifts are involved.
We offer an hourly wage and bonuses. We also offer other bonuses upon successful completion of the probation period. There are opportunities to further your jewellery education as well.
Qualifications
The successful applicant should be a high school graduate, over the age of 18, self-motivated, positive, have a team-oriented attitude, and possess great listening and communication skills. Proficiency in operating a computer is vital since we use it for almost everything. A good work ethic, desire to learn, and willingness to help are important. Previous sales/customer service experience is preferred.
