Parts Helper

Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is hiring!
We are immediately seeking a Parts Helper at our Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. location in Brandon, MB. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Parts Helper will be responsible for assisting the Parts Department in various tasks as needed. This position requires a physically fit individual who will be able to load and unload heavy parts. They will need to have critical thinking skills, ablility to take initiative, and be team orientated. The hours of work are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday, or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
*This is a term position that will run from May-August that has the potential to turn into a permanent position at the end of the contract.

Job Duties
• Pick parts for orders.
• Restock shelves in display area.
• Ensure goods are not damaged at time of delivery.
• Ensure parts are placed in their designated areas once they have been processed.
• Provide excellent face-to-face and phone customer service in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
• Processing parts request and returns, quoting prices, product availability, creating purchase orders, and collecting payment.
• Providing service technicians with parts as required.
• Maintaining the retail sales floor, counter and displays with the purpose of meeting/exceeding the dealership’s standards and customer satisfaction.
• Yard maintenance and cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Grade 12 or GED equivalent preferred.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently.
• Physically fit with excellent manual dexterity and bodily coordination.
• Must have steel toed shoes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and interpret customers’ needs.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Excellent time management skills, communication skills and demonstrate flexibility and initiative.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, documentation skills, ability to prioritize, and strong creative problem solving skills are required.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Shipping/ Receiving experience is an asset.
• Sales experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of parts is an asset.
