Program/Events Leader & Assistants

Overview

The Town of Virden has the following employment opportunities available for the summer of 2024:

Programs/Events Leader – this position, starting May 13, 2024, will be primarily responsible for the coordination of the planning, implementation, operation and evaluation of the Community Day Camp programs for children 6 to 12. Other duties may include planning and assisting with other community programs and events.

Programs/Events Assistants – these three positions, starting July 2, 2024, will be primarily responsible for assisting at the Community Day Camp. Other duties may include assisting with other community programs and events.

The positions listed above will both be subject to 40 hour work weeks, which could include evenings and weekends. The successful applicants must be self-starters, possess exceptional organizational and time management skills and communication skills. The ability to work with children and the general public is imperative.
