The Royal Canadian Artillery Museum is a museum dedicated to telling the complete story of the more than 200,000 Canadian Gunners who have served Canada in war and peace since 1855. The museum is Canada’s National Artillery Museum, a Manitoba Star Attraction and one of the largest military museums in Canada. In 1962, the RCA Museum was established within CFB Shilo in order to preserve and interpret this proud heritage for future generations.
Under the Supervision of The RCA Museum Senior Curator, the Research Intern may assist in the research, preparation and presentation of interpretative material relating to themes and programs of the RCA Museum. The Research Intern may assist curatorial staff with research, documentation and care of The RCA Museum's collections, and provide interpretation and research assistance to individual clients and group tours.
This Temporary Full-Time position is offered to University or College Students studying History or a related field. The position offers 75 hours bi-weekly, and a term of approximately 12 weeks between the months of May 2024 and August 2024.

Wage Range: $19.30 – 20.46 per hour (Based on Experience)
Commuting Allowance available for those who qualify.
