Job Description:
Duties include but not limited to:
• leading activities while projecting a fun and responsible attitude;
• planning and executing a weekly schedule of activities;
• purchasing supplies as needed while staying within budget;
• performing administrative duties such as returning phone calls and emails, keeping event statistics, helping maintain recreation equipment, and keeping inventory;
• completing any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
The Recreation Coordinator must possess the following knowledge and skills:
• Class 5 valid BC Driver’s License and must have own transportation;
• current Level 1 First Aid with CPR-C and AED endorsements mandatory;
• excellent time management and organizational skills;
• the ability to adapt to ever changing programs while maintaining standards set by the Resort;
• proficient Microsoft office skills;
• Positive police/background check, due to the nature of the duties involving interaction with the vulnerable sector such as children, the elderly or persons with disabilities;
• Previous experience in Recreation is preferable.
