Sunchaser is currently seeking friendly and energetic individuals for the following position:

Recreation Coordinator

Position Type: Seasonal, Full-time Work Environment: Indoor/Outdoor

Number of Openings: 1 Start Date: May/June 2023

Hours per week: 32-40 Finish Date: September 2023

Wage: $18 per hour starting wage Schedule: Must be able to work on statutory holidays

Job Description:

Duties include but not limited to:

· leading activities while projecting a fun and responsible attitude;

· planning and executing a weekly schedule of activities;

· purchasing supplies as needed while staying within budget;

· performing administrative duties such as returning phone calls and emails, keeping event statistics, helping maintain recreation equipment, and keeping inventory;

· completing any additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

The Recreation Coordinator must possess the following knowledge and skills:

· Class 5 valid BC Driver’s License and must have own transportation;

· Food Safe Certification mandatory;

· current Level 1 First Aid with CPR-C and AED endorsements mandatory;

· excellent time management and organizational skills;

· the ability to adapt to ever changing programs while maintaining standards set by the Resort;

· proficient Microsoft office skills;

· Positive police/background check, due to the nature of the duties involving interaction with the vulnerable sector such as children, the elderly or persons with disabilities;

· Previous experience in Recreation is preferable
