Dragonfly Delights Tea Room is now accepting applications for all positions within the restaurant for the 2026 Season. Both Front of house, (servers, beverage artist, cashier, bussing) and Back of House, (dishwasher, cook/chef, line cook, prep cook, baker)
The Tea Room is looking for creative individuals with a love for hospitality. The Park has guests from all over the world that are most interesting to meet, greet and get to know. The Tea Room is requesting hardworking individuals that can work as a TEAm, loyal to the brand and in love with a calm stress free atmosphere are required. The ability to stand for long hours, smile even when you don't want to and speak with kindness always is essential.
This is the second exciting season for this brand new unique restaurant at Clear Lake. The kitchen prepares breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea for the guests daily. Everything is made in house from scratch, using as much local ingredients as the seasons allow. The menu is small, simple but ever so tasty, changing with the seasons.
Afternoon Tea is the specialty for the Tea Room. Serving afternoon tea to the guests day after day is most rewarding as it is like have a little tea party every day. Who doesn't like a party?A most unique and flexible menu offering. The Tea Room changes the themes every two weeks for the Afternoon Tea and this them often spills in the regular breakfast, lunch and drink menus. The Tea Room atmosphere is that of a step into the past with antiques, linens and fine china, imagine going to visit grandma. Calm relaxing music is played at all time for the guest, with the goal of ensuring their visit to the tea room is exceptional.
The 2026 season begins April 1st with hours and days of operations limited through the spring to accommodate both staff and guest demand. Through the summer the Tea Room strives to be open 7 days a week 7am - 7pm. Once again the autumn hours will be determined by staff availability and guest demand. The final day of operation October 31, 2026.
The tea room is located at 106 Buffalo drive, Wasagaming Manitoba, renting from the newly renovated Stowaway Inn. Wasagaming is a resort town on Clear Lake within the Riding Mountain National Park, a one hour drive north of Brandon and about a one hour drive south of Dauphin.
Accommodations have been secured for staff that might.
Interview will be held mid through late February with training commencing late March to prepare for an early April Opening.
The first season in 2025 was successful with a small but mighty staff of about only fifteen. 90% of those staff members have indicated that they intend to return. Which indicates that the Tea Room is a great place to work. Management would like to double the staff for the second season with a priority of Back of House staffing.

Qualifications
Experience in food service is preferred but not required. The Tea Room will teach you everything you need to know.
Food handlers certificate, safe serve, CPR and first aid are beneficial.
Attitude and attention with the willingness to learn are most important.
Excelling in customer service, communication and teamwork are essential.
A knowledge of tea, afternoon tea and all things tea is not needed but most helpful.
A love for nature is an absolute benefit as the Tea Room is located in beautiful Riding Mountain National Park.

Dragonfly Delights Tea Room is a three decades long dream come true for the owner, Joanne Jesseau. The Tea Room began renting in a church basement in 2019 and enjoyed its first store front experience in 2025. The company strives to create a calm stress free atmosphere for both guest and staff. The vintage "grandmacore" atmosphere and tasty made from scratch menu give this new Clear Lake restaurant an advantage in the Park.
