Job Title: Sales Analyst
Location: Winnipeg, MB (On-Site)
Position Overview
The Sales Analyst is a strategic partner to the Sales team, responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive performance. This role focuses on developing KPIs, optimizing sales processes, and aligning cross-functional initiatives to support growth. The Analyst plays a key role in forecasting, training, and strategic planning, ensuring the sales team operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of regional and national sales plans in collaboration with leadership. Provide data-driven insights into performance, pipeline health, and growth opportunities.
Support direct and indirect (dealer-based) sales teams by coordinating territory-specific initiatives, incentive tracking, and account segmentation.
Oversee CRM accuracy and reporting. Design and maintain dashboards that support actionable sales decisions. Champion data hygiene and integrity across the sales team.
Identify and implement workflow improvements. Standardize processes for quoting, order tracking, lead routing, and sales team communications.
Serve as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure smooth hand-offs, alignment on timelines, and execution of go-to-market initiatives.
Guide junior staff and marketing on lead gen strategy. Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, UCC data, and industry intelligence to qualify targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales Operations, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field is required. Additional certifications (e.g., Salesforce Admin) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales planning, sales operations, or business development support, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Advanced CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper) is required.
Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
Exposure to sales enablement platforms, ERP systems, or BI tools is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
