Summer Sales Internship:
Cargill Global Edible Oils Solutions – Specialties (GEOS-S) is a producer of canola seed and is a manufacturer of high oleic canola oils and sunflower oil serving the grower/farmer, food ingredient, and food service segments. GEOS-S operates 10 facilities including office locations in the US, Canada and Australia.
You will work with the Territory Manager to promote our Victory and Invigor Health hybrids and ensure high quality production of specialty canola within an identity preservation system. You will be working with dynamic growers in the industry from diverse areas who are concerned with keeping up on groundbreaking innovation in the agriculture industry. You will really get a chance to see what it’s like to be a part of valuable marketplace within agriculture!

Internship details:
• Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.
• Interns are paid hourly for time worked.
• Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work.
• Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered an internship, co-op or full-time position to return the following year.

Frequent travel within assigned region for meetings with customers, prospects and other Cargill personnel. You must have a safe driving history; a motor vehicle record history will be reviewed
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or diploma from an accredited program in an Agriculture-related field and graduating between December 2024 and May 2026
• Able to complete a 16-week internship May - August 2024
• Possess a valid Canadian drivers licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.
• Ability to work in environmental conditions where there is a potential exposure to sun, wind, rain, pollen, dust, and insects
• Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Agriculture
• Previous agriculture sales, research and/or farm experience and knowledge of crop production and canola agronomy
