Overview
Position Summary:
The Seasonal Yard Attendant supports the efficient operations of the Agro site by performing a variety of tasks related to fertilizer, seed, and yard maintenance. Reporting to the Agro Manager, this role is essential to ensuring timely service for Guests and maintaining a well-organized and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload dry and liquid fertilizer and seed with care and accuracy.
Collaborate with Agronomists to support various operational needs.
Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient access to products and supplies.
Perform general yard maintenance to keep the site safe and operational.
Assist in other areas of the Agro as required, particularly during peak times.
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal and Guest service skills
• Highly motivated
• Previous agriculture experience an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Must be available for a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• This position involves working extended hours during the busy season
