Your days will include:
• Work closely with the Corporate Chef to prepare and serve HyLife pork to our established standards of quality and taste
• Lead and support a team of cafeteria cooks and servers to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
• Develop new menu concepts and recipes that enhance employee dining and showcase our product
• Prepare and cook meals and specialty dishes for both cafeteria service and catered corporate events
• Ensure consistent quality and food safety for all HyLife meat products cooked or prepared
• Coordinate equipment and supply needs for events with the Marketing Coordinator
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and support skill development for staff
• Order food, manage inventory levels, and maintain proper food storage practices
• Represent HyLife in cooking demonstrations and brand-focused food experiences

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Red Seal Certification in Culinary Arts (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience
• Supervisory or Sous Chef experience is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
• Creative, adaptable, and excited to contribute new ideas
• Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
